It was the Midget series which had established MG as a manufacturer of sports cars with an excellent reputation in motor sport. Brakes upgraded with discs at the front and the larger Riley 1. Very nice example of a properly restored Midget with photo record of rebuild and history file going back to the late 's. A new wiring loom was fitted along with new electrical components. Only a few hundred miles since completion. Sorry but a deposit has been taken now.
Advertised on behalf of the current owner who states:
This Midget drives very well and will come with a fresh MoT and is reluctantly for sale due to the imminent arrival of a baby. Round Wheel arch model, cc. Restored in and only miles since. Reconditioned dashboard and guages. Black Leather seats with white piping. I have just remembered that the diary also describes when the car went for a photograpy session for the book "Original Sprite and Midget" by Terry Horler. Registration Plates for Sale:
